Tikli Bottom is a classic English run, Lutyens style three bedroom Indian Haveli built by the late Martin and Annie Howard in 1999.
Nestled in the heart of nature, Tikli Bottom offers breathtaking views and a serene atmosphere that captivates every visitor. Experience the rich biodiversity and vibrant landscapes that make this tourist attraction a must-visit destination.
Our friendly staff, many of whom have been here from the beginning, are happy to welcome you into the family and take care of you. They live on sight so their children are a delightful addition for those who are partial to a game or two.
We have the character of a hill station, being almost surrounded by hills, peace and quiet. We are situated 50 km south of central Delhi in the state of Haryana, off the Delhi-Jaipur highway and are
30 km or 45 minutes from Delhi International Airport.
We are a soft landing for those travelling to India for the first time wishing to start their tour of the Golden Triangle and beyond.
Three double bedrooms are offered to guests to live en famille.
Included is lunch, supper and breakfast joining us at our table. Muna will greet you with offers of a drink or tea upon arrival and your enchanted time here at Tikli Bottom will begin.
Our beds are comfortable, our air is clean,
our western food is organic and tasty.
Our welcome is warm and friendly.
We are now famed as a beautiful location for film, fashion and wedding shoots and have featured in many well know films and series.
We also offer small intimate weddings for the discerning few and Corporate lunches for local businesses.
Rest assured any house guests will not be double booked if there are film crews or any other clients on the location. You will have Tikli Bottom to yourself with other guests, or lunch guests,
if there are any, not big shoots.
Full Board at Tikli Bottom
Our full-board overnight charge is
Rs 24,500 for a couple
and Rs 14,500 for a single.
We can offer double or twin beds.
Babies are free, but please bring your own cot.
This includes lunch, dinner and breakfast and
even bed tea first thing in the morning.
Massage and reflexology are available from our in house masseuse
at Rs 1,200 for one hour.
We collect GST tax for GoI at the rate of 5% for food and 18% for accommodation it is included in the prices above.
What we offer
Day visits
Day visitors are welcome from 11:30am till around 5pm for lunch.
We serve a delicious buffet of Western style, home grown and
freshly cooked veg and non veg food
served at 1:30pm under our courtyard arch.
Tea and coffee served before departure around 4pm.
Pre-booking essential
Lunch is Rs 3,000* per person
children 12 to 18yr Rs 2,000 per person
children 6 to 12yr Rs 1,000 and under 6yr is Rs.500
drivers and ayahs are Rs.400

Those wishing to enjoy a refreshing swim may do so only with a day room for Rs 5,000. Maximum of six people per room.
Breakfast is Rs 800 per person
Available upon request. Continental breakfast of fruit and yoghurt followed by eggs, sausages and bacon.

Pre-Wedding Shoots Location
We offer a romantic setting of both house and garden for the perfect backdrop to create your own love story.
You have use of the full location for up to 12 hours with a room for hair and make up with A/C and a western washroom.

For Fashion Shoots or Film Shoots Location
We offer you a beautiful characterful home with friendly
and experienced staff to help you
with what you need for your shoot.
We offer a rich mature garden, with many tall trees and
pretty plants often in glorious colour.
We have a half moon pool which adds enchanting
reflections of the house.
The Lutyens style house offers a vintage charm with many stunning artefacts and old pictures making for a sophisticated,
classic backdrop for your photos.
We are surrounded by the Aravalli hills which give us cleaner air and blue skies with stunning sunrises and sunsets.
You may hire the location for up to 12 hours and
will have exclusive use of the property.
Included is a bedroom with A/C and private washroom
for make-up and prep/rest and free Wi-Fi.

In memoriam
Annie Howard died peacefully in her sleep on August 26th 2023. She is now up in heaven with her dear Martin who passed away
14th March 2021.
They were a remarkable power couple who were respected in the community and amongst the ex-pat and Delhi society. Martin set up a private school from charitable donations, given to the panchayat to educate the village children. He received an MBE for this successful life changing work. Annie lent her great style and elegance to both projects making them a thing of beauty and elegance.
They will be deeply missed by so many.
